The consideration point for most HR or Hiring Managers is usually the competency of the candidate. Firstly, shouldn’t this be a hygiene factor, something that is already expected?
Secondly; would you hire a candidate with the right competencies, but lack the motivation? Or would you hire someone with a lower level of competency but with the right attitude and drive?
